I feel I must give you kudos for your remarkable interpretation of the Brahms 4th. I think I now understand what you meant about an interpretation free of ego. You totally channeled Brahms. The substitute conductor had a totally different idea of it, all speed and bombast. I know you love to take things fast, but your tempos on the Brahms were ideal. What a great afternoon!
