What Others Have To Say About Us

From: Francisco Vazquez. Community Foundation
Dear friends,
First of all, I send to all of you my deepest gratitude for all the hard work you did to make La Pasión possible. I know much everyone worked to bridge the gap between the Latino and non-Latino population and I admire your dedication and hard work.
We accomplished many objectives. La Pasión was definitely a crossing borders experience and a step forward in the quest to bring together the Latino and the dominant culture.
The Community Foundation was the first to be recognized by Gabriel Sakakeeny in front of the entire audience. The people who were there realized that there is more to Latino culture than farm workers and illegal aliens (though we were preaching to the choir to some extent).
The American Philharmonic made its mark on the consciousness of the entire community by showing its willingness to take risks, think out of the box and do something simply extraordinary.
My guests were encantados (enchanted), with the whole experience and very appreciative of the special treatment as VIPs that they got from everyone.
